Louis Durand – Cabinet maker from the SEPR

Louis is very active in the SEPR alumni network (La Toile).

He takes part in meetings and has spoken on several occasions at events organised at the SEPR: prize-giving ceremonies, the alumni’s annual evening, etc.

After finishing high-school, Louis joined the SEPR to take a professional training in cabinet-making, which he obtained in 2020.

Thank to the interest he had in the introductory courses offered by the SEPR, he discovered cabinetmaking.

He didn’t want to stop there, continuing his training with a BMA (Brevet des métiers d’art : a french diploma in the arts and crafts sector which aims to preserve and pass on traditional techniques while encouraging innovation) in cabinetmaking, obtained in 2022.

His experience at SEPR enabled him to learn a trade, acquire skills and manufacturing techniques.

Louis wants to start his own business. He has taken steps to be supported by the SEPR incubator (Iceo).
