MOSAIC Project
The researchers of the MOSAIC project have contributed to the creation of 5 reports and a list of recommendations for VET
centres.

The MOSAIC project is a Centre of Vocational Excellence (CoVE) initiative that seeks to enhance vocational education and training (VET) in the Arts and Crafts sector. It focuses on industries such as jewellery and precious metals, furniture, woodworking, bridging these crafts with modern design and industry practices to future-proof the craft sector.
By fostering collaboration between companies, educational institutions, and international organisations, the project seeks to create innovative, forward-looking learning environments that ensure high quality skills that lead to quality employment and career-long opportunities in the sector.
The aims of MOSAIC include improving training methods, promoting transnational strategies, and incorporating the topics of digitalisation, sustainability, entrepreneurship and social inclusion into craft training pathways. MOSAIC brings together partners from across Europe and beyond, including VET and Higher Education institutions, other educational centres, companies, and umbrella organisations that support the Arts and Crafts sector.
The project emphasises sustainable and inclusive growth to facilitate alignment with job creation and the skills needs of the sector, responding to both societal changes and industry evolution.
MOSAIC also offers opportunities for individuals to get involved through initiatives such as the « MOSAIC Ambassadors’ Network”, allowing participants to shape and promote Vocational Excellence in the Arts and Crafts.
