Neo Craftsmanship
Neo Craftsmanship explores how a new generation of craftspeople is pushing the traditional boundaries of craftsmanship. Today, practices are becoming hybridised: craftsmanship meets design, contemporary art, digital technology, but also forms of social and ecological engagement. This theme invites us to question these new identities, the narratives of objects and experimental practices that are reinventing the meaning of “making” and redesigning the sector’s economic models.
In other words: how are today’s crafts becoming the laboratory for tomorrow’s imaginations?
